Petty Theft: A Tribute to Tom Petty

Michael Furlong has an extensive background in the music business as a performing musician and technician. He is a lead vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, studio and live audio engineer, and a record and video producer and editor.

He has performed across the US, Canada, Japan, Guam, and Hawaii. Since 1990, his “Petty Theft" show, a tribute to Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, has appeared in casinos, fairs, and festivals nationwide. Tom Petty himself mentioned Michael’s show in a 1996 Rolling Stone interview, on "Rock Line," and "MTV's Top 20 Countdown."
